Me and the Boston Globe walk into a bar

This just in: the Boston Globe thinks drinkboston.com is inkworthy … and stylish. It’s publishing an article on me and the site in today’s Styles section. Not only that, I will be available for an online chat about the article, Boston bar culture, cocktails, etc. from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. today on Boston.com. Check it out!

If you’ve landed here from Boston.com or the Boston Globe and are a first-time visitor, welcome. Take a look around. Post a comment. Have a drink. Cheers!

If you’re not busy this Sunday night, join me and the Boston chapter of LUPEC (Ladies United for the Preservation of Endangered Cocktails) for Chartreuse Cocktails at Green Street in Cambridge.

Looks like the link off my name is busted… but I fixed it now.

Regardless, here’s the link to the article at the Globe:

Wow, Lauren, great story! Congratulations–be sure to celebrate.

And now I have to embark on putting together one of those Jaguars….

Thanks, Paul. Yes, indeed you do need to try a Jaguar. Be sure to let me know what you think.

    Hi Lauren,
Fresh off your Globe article I would like to nominate Artu on Prince st. in the North End..the bartenders ( Steph, Katie, Sal and Matt) are outgoing, make an excellent drink and are down to earth, food is on the same level with kitchen open till 1:30, grilled pizzas are to die for. A lot of the trade hangs there as well, for the above reasons and Artu has a 2 am license as well. The owner, Nancy, is often there and is a gracious host. Congratulations on your article,
    SJ

Hey, I love Artu! I sheepishly confess that I didn’t even know they had a bar and served cocktails. D’oh! Thanks for tip.

    Way to go, Lauren!

Have you tried the basil gimlet at Casablanca?

  10. Kerry

Congratlations Clarkie! I am so pleased for you. Continued success.

    Cheers!
